There are currently eight internal club competitions. They cater for all abilities from beginner to advanced. All club members are encouraged to compete for the trophies most suitable for their handicaps.

The Mike Evans Trophy

The annual full lawn singles handicap competition. This is played as a knockout and progresses over the summer months.

The Club Handicap Doubles

The annual full lawn doubles competition played on handicap difference. This is normally held on one day as a knock out competition.

The Short Cup 

This is a short lawn competition for intermediate players with short lawn handicaps of 6 and below. This is usually played as a one day tournament jointly with the Short Bowl.

The Short Bowl 

This is a short lawn competition for intermediate players with short lawn handicaps of 7 and above. This is usually played as a one day tournament jointly with the Short Cup.

The Gillespie Mallet

Full Lawn Advanced Handicap Singles for players with a full lawn handicap of less than 10.

Advanced Handicap Doubles

Full Lawn Advanced Handicap Doubles for players with a full lawn handicap of less than 10.

The Elspeth Johnson/Anderson Trophy

For the winner of the annual One Ball competition.

The Arnold Bowls Cup

A trophy presented to the most improved player of the year.

The Harry Tattershall Trophy

A trophy presented to the player who gains the most points for attendance and wins on Monday club afternoons.
